9 to 16 NOVEMBER 2024
Put you golf skills to the test against players from other countries in the beautiful ALGARVE! Participate in the 46th TAP OPEN, taking place in VILAMOURA! For your accommodation you can choose between PENINA HOTEL & GOLF RESORT *****, with good access and a few kilometers from the sea, as well a RENTAL CAR at your disposal. The Tournament will be played at the PENINA, BOAVISTA, GRAMACHO and VALE DA PINTA golf courses. To travel to PORTUGAL, with TAP AIRLINE you can enjoy free transportation of golf bag.
PROGRAMME
9 November, saturday
- Pick-up of the Rental Car at the AVIS desk in Faro / Lisbon Airport;
- Check-in at the hotel from 15:00.
10 November, sunday
- Practice golf round at one of the Tournament courses;
- Welcoming Dinner.
11 to 14 November, monday to thursday
- 4 Competition golf rounds on the Tournament courses.
15 November, friday
- Challenge Tournament round at Penina (optional and subject to supplement);
- Prize giving Dinner at Arvad Winery’s Porch.
16 November, saturday
- Check-out of the hotel until 12:00;
- Drop-off of the Rental Car at the AVIS desk in Faro / Lisbon Airport.
FORMAT: Strokeplay over 72 holes (18 holes x 4 golf courses) with handicap.
The 46th TAP Open competition method will sort all golfer into four groups of equal size. All golfers will play at all four golf courses, within the four days of the tournament, in a rotation method established by draw.
This package includes:
- 7-Night stay in Mountain View Room at PENINA HOTEL & GOLF RESORT *****;
- Daily buffet breakfast;
- AVIS Rental Car (Peugeot 208 or similar) for 1 or 2 persons during 7 days;
- 1 Practice Round to choose between the four golf courses;
- Competition Round at PENINA;
- Competition Round at BOAVISTA;
- Competition Round at GRAMACHO;
- Competition Round at VALE DA PINTA;
- Challenge Tournament Round at PENINA (optional and subject to supplement);
- Welcome Dinner at the hotel;
- Prize-giving Dinner at Arvad Winery’s Porch.
CAR RENTAL
Other car typologies - Fiat 500, Renault Clio / Megane / Captur, Toyota CHR Hybrid - are available on request. Car rental include unlimited mileage, basic insurances such as collision damage waiver (CDW), civil responsibility and theft protection; airport service supplement and taxes. Not included: Fuel, extra driver upgrade, vehicle upgrade, e-toll, deposit fee reduction; personal assistance insurance, super CDW, or any other extra insurances or services hired by golfers at car pick-up. AVIS has also available an exclusive super CDW insurance, upon request, with a 50% reduction over the standard price. AVIS requires a valid driver´s license and a valid credit card upon the car delivery. Extra services or upgrades hired by the driver directly at the AVIS counter, upon the car pick-up, are subject to extra charges in the driver´s credit card. It is advisable to thoroughly verify the rental conditions, as presented by the AVIS staff, before signing the car rental contract. The standard 7 days rental period counts from the pick-up hour to the drop-off hour, without any provision for delayed deliveries. Extension on the rental period is available only if booked in advance and through Clube TAP. Car sharing is possible, but not advisable.

Air fares not included. TAP Air Portugal flight reservations are available at www.flytap.com. Please book your flights in advance to guarantee the best prices.
Traveling with TAP, sports equipment can be included in the free hold baggage, upon confirmation of availability and as long as it does not exceed the checked baggage weight limits included in the ticket purchased (23kg for economy and 32kg for executive).
